Coach Sam is the 2026 Hertfordshire Coach of the Year and an LTA Level 3 Accredited+ Coach with extensive experience coaching players of all ages and abilities. A former competitive player, Sam represented both Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and trained as part of Oxfordshire’s Regional Development Centre (RDC) performance programme.

After taking a break from coaching to pursue his second passion, acting, Sam returned to tennis with a renewed dedication to building a positive, welcoming, and thriving tennis community. He is committed to creating an environment where players of every level- from complete beginners to aspiring competitors-can develop their skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy the game.

Sam also works closely with Hertfordshire Tennis, coaching within the 9U and 10U county age groups, and has captained teams at the prestigious Lionel Cox tournament.
